Just received confirmation that my "Best of The Dean Martin Variety Show" DVD set that I pre-ordered Wednesday shipped today, to be delivered ON the June 14th release date. What was even MORE surprising though... cheaper than I thought! They apparently DO stick by their "price guarantee" that states, "Order now and if the Amazon.com price decreases between your order time and the end of the day of the release date, you'll receive the lowest price."
Well, the day I ordered it, the price was $53.99, six dollars less than the $59.95 list price. Confirmation on shipping email had it as $38.99. Sure enough, I went back to the product page... Amazon's price had lowered since Wednesday, and I AM being billed the lower price!
I think things like this is why Amazon is so successfull... they are a rarity nowdays... an HONEST company!
