Weather Update

In the January 8th post, you may remember I mentioned the weather service was predicting ice, sleet, and snow for yesterday. Well, we got the ice and sleet, but I never saw one snowflake here at the house. Just enough ice and sleet for the parish school board to cancel classes for today, so Andrew got a three-day weekend. The house has a layer of sleet and ice on it, as does the big bush in moms front yard, and the poor old magnolia tree in my back yard...







They are saying most of the precipitation is over now, so hopefully things will thaw out soon, since temps today are supposed to be above freezing.
