Not Good News

As I mentioned in yesterdays post, mom and Uncle Barrett went yesterday to visit Uncle Bill, who has advanced lung cancer. He has deteriorated to the point that he has bouts of dementia, doesn't recognize some people, and has to stay in bed most of the time. He has developed bed sores as a result. My cousin is thinking of sending him to a nursing facility, even though he doesn't want to go. The doctor is now saying he has 90 days, at the most.

In other news, Andrew will be out most of the afternoon. Went to a movie with his girlfriend. The girlfriends grandmother provided transportation. I neglected to ask what movie they were seeing. In the meantime, I'm doing a couple loads of laundry, and will be listening to Leo Laporte's "The Tech Guy" radio show a bit later.
