Anyone got a boat?

The amount of rain here in northeast Louisiana has been crazy since late October. The Ouachita River, although not overflowing because of the levees, has been above flood stage since early December, with partial cave-ins in parts of the levees, which can't be repaired until the river gets lower. In the 44 years I've been here, I've never seen THIS much rain! The ground on this acre of land is SO saturated, I have to put on rubber boots just to walk next door to my mothers place! The yard, the way it looks this afternoon, after another night of thunderstorms...
