Kids today... Geesh!

I was watching "The Best of Howdy Doody" the other day, which I found at the local "Big Lots" store for $6.00. My son walks into the room, sees the puppet... first thing out of his mouth was, "YOU CAN SEE THE STRINGS!!"

Tried to explain that that episode was 1949 live television, but he wasn't impressed, and went back to his PS3. Guess if he doesn't care for black and white in general (yet he likes "Young Frankenstein"), then an ancient black and white kinescope is out of the question!

Yes... I recently aquired a Sony 46" LCD HDTV 1080p 120Hz TV and new Yamaha 5.1 Surround system, yet I'm still watching stuff like this... call me weird... my son has. He says I should just buy an old B&W TV!
