Enough already... go ahead and switch over!

I see the Senate has passed the digital television transition delay bill yet again, after the House killed it! It'll go back to the House yet again now! This has been going on for YEARS already. I say, go ahead and stay with the February 17th switchover date!

If the people who only get "over-the-air" broadcasts haven't gotten prepared after all this time, or aren't aware the analog broadcasts are going to be shut off on February 17, then they apparently don't watch TV anyway! TV here has been bombarded with ads and messages for several months alerting people to the fact! Even the local evening newscasts have a "countdown" at the end of the broadcast every night!

Doesn't the US government have more pressing issues to deal with other than squabbling over TV?!?
