Ouachita Parish sheriff’s deputies arrested Elvis Aaron Presley early this morning after he reportedly pushed his wife.
Presley, 47, of 27 Nelson Road, Lot 4, Monroe, was arrested on one count of domestic abuse battery and booked into Ouachita Correctional Center.
According to arrest reports, deputies responded to a disturbance at the above address. The victim told deputies that she and her husband of one year got into an argument.
She said that Presley pushed her against the cabinets in the kitchen and that she ran from the home to a nearby house and called for help.
Deputies saw a minor scratch on the victim’s forearm.
Presley’s bond was set at $2,500.
