I'm Terrible...

Someone on TotalFark.com asked, "My wife turns 40 today. She's still hot as ever but a little freaked. What should I say or do that will help her on this BIG day?"
My reply in comments was:

"A bit late to the thread, but take her out for a nice meal, some roses, maybe a film, then home, and have a lengthy "dessert" at the "Y"...

Bad advice, or was I just speaking my mind, because I like "eating at the Y" when I get the chance?
