Okay, I've taught my mom the basics of using AOL Messenger on her computer (my old computer), but for how long, I'm not sure... old computer has had a lot of freeze up problems on boot up lately, more than it did over here... have to boot in safe mode at least once a week to get it to get past the "Compaq" logo screen, then run ScanDisk(no errors found). She says if it "dies", she won't spend the money for a new one, and I don't think that one, as old as it is, is worth upgrading. And currently (starting a sentence with "And"?!?) , I can't afford a computer either, to give her this one.
