Just Thinking

Are my friends and I oddities in this area? Only "Monty Python" film in this area(West Monroe/Monroe,Louisiana) that actually showed in a movie theater was "Monty Python Live at the Hollywood Bowl" in the early 1980's at the ABC/Plitt Theater(now obsolete) located next to Montgomery Ward(now obsolete) on Oliver Road. Opening night for that movie, I was there with my two friends at the time James Stricklin and Jerry Sanders. Only other two people in the whole room that night were two drunk guys in the back row quoting all the lines as they happened. I remember that Friday like it was yesterday....the movie left that theater less than a week after it first shown, replaced by some other film(that theater only had two screens). Not many "Python" fans in this area I take it?
