Booger Clumps

Mom and I just returned from Cooper Veterinary Hospital to drop off her cat "Booger". She has to take him there every few months so they can get the mats out of his fur. He's half-Persian, so he has long fur, and he puts up too big of a fight if anyone tried to comb him to keep the mats out. Therefore, the vet has to "knock him out" to remove the matted fur.

Since they will be giving him anesthesia, he couldn't have anything to eat or drink after midnight. This made both Booger AND Eastwood unhappy because we couldn't leave food or water setting out. After we returned this morning, I went ahead and gave Eastwood food and water... although at 22 pounds, he probably could have lived without the food a little longer!
