Correct decisions... for a change...

Guess I made the correct decision when I switched to a small, local DSL ISP once AT&T announced they were going to implement monthly bandwidth caps. I consulted with the local companys owner before switching, and he said they had no plans of putting in monthly usage caps. A bit later, I saw online ads from the company...

Today, while out job hunting, I heard an ad on the local classic rock station making the same statement. So... hopefully I won't have to curtail all the online radio and video I consume anytime soon, and my son can game to his hearts content!

Just as I figured...

Ever since I was invited to a Facebook group with a lot of my old classmates from junior high school (I had FUN in elementary through junior high), can't help but notice how much more successful/better off most of them are currently than I am. Most have good jobs, are married, and have moved out of Louisiana.

Here I am, currently unemployed, only had low-paying jobs, a single father, and living in the house I've lived in all my life. But then again, most of them were more popular once they reached high school than I was. I still blame my bad high school experience for where I am now...
