Don'cha just HATE when this happens??

A few years ago, the Thames years of "The Benny Hill Show" were released in their entirety on DVD, released in 6 seperate 3-disc volumes. When I purchased those sets, I paid $34.99 each for them, not including tax and/or shipping if I had to order them. Today, I notice Amazon has the entire "megaset" for just $47.99...

Not the first time this has happened though... first bought the entire series of "Soap" on VHS in the early 1990's on VHS... 23 tapes, mailed once a month, for $19.95 each. Later, got the series on DVD a LOT cheaper, although for some reason some of the episodes on the DVD are syndicated versions, and the tapes have the uncut broadcast versions.

When I bought the entire series set of "The Prisoner" on Blu-ray a couple years ago, paid $69.99 for it at Best Buy. Saw it on Amazon a few days ago for $33.99.

Currently have seasons 1-3 of "The Twilight Zone" on Blu-ray ordered from Amazon, expecting them sometime tomorrow. Getting season 1 for $51.99, season 2 for $48.99, and season 3 for $46.99 (going to be considered an "early birthday gift" from my mother). Hopefully, I won't go online tomorrow and see them $20 a season... since they each have a $99.99 list price!
