Off Day

Been enjoyin' my first day off in six days today. Did a little laundry, and, since I finally got the "beta" Vista drivers for the video input device I bought last year to work, put six of the twelve episodes I have on VHS of the rather obscure TV series "When Things Were Rotten" onto a DVD. Figured I might as well, since I like the show so much, and I doubt seriously Paramount will ever release it in DVD format. Resulting picture and audio are a bit "craptastic" however... but can't expect much from 20 year old videotapes recorded off the A & E network in the late 1980's, and the prints they used when they aired it were a bit faded and worn. Been so long since I had watched those episodes, completely forgot about the one where Dudley Moore appeared as a sheik.

I'll probably go to the living room in a couple of hours, and continue to attempt to catch up on viewing the DVD sets I bought recently... don't go in to work tomorrow till 2pm. May never get caught up though... Saturday night placed an order on Amazon for two more DVD's... the movie "The Groove Tube" (my ancient VHS recorded off Cinemax in the late 80's is showing its age), and "Benny Hill Complete and Unadulterated - The Hill's Angels Years, Set Four (1978-1981)". Those two titles should be here sometime tomorrow.
