Turner Classic Movies is showing a few Fred Astaire/Ginger Rogers movies this evening. Got me to thinking... I liked these movies even in my early teens in the late 1970's. Was I an "odd" early teen? I still wish to this day I could dance like Fred Astaire did. Even bought three soundtrack LP's to their films back then, from a now defunct label called "Sandy Hook Records", a division of the now defunct "Radiola Records", whick specialized in old radio show releases.
Yes, I sympathize with Cindy Sheehan since she lost a son, but no matter how much I hate Bush and the fact Iraq was started just because he wanted to revenge the death threat Hussein put on his dad, and he knew damn well there were never any WMD's... Bush did NOT "kill her son"... no one forced the kid to join the military! If a draft were in effect, then yes, but no draft is in effect.
