Wrong Numbers
Several months back, I came home from work one day to find a message from what sounded like an elderly lady on my answering machine talking about she had gotten a parking ticket and how she shouldn't have since she was on a limited income. I looked at my caller ID, it was from Los Angeles,California...
Yesterday afternoon, the phone rings, I look at the caller ID, but don't answer, because it says "Los Angeles,CA"...a foreign sounding guy leaves a message on my answering machine leaving his phone number and saying "I would like to contest a citation".
Only thing I can figure, is my number must be really close to a city court phone number in Los Angeles,California. But what I can't figure is how they are getting my number, being they would have to dial an area code for long distance before they would reach here. I did a search of area codes in the Los Angeles area online, and none were close to looking like "318"!
