More Tates and Campbells...

This evening, I digitized the next four episodes of the Tape and Record Show Enterprises fake radio series "TRS Presents: Soap" from the original "broadcast" audio cassettes...

"TRS Presents: Soap, Episode 41: Broadcast Monday, June 30,1986 at 9:00pm central. Theme Music: Swing Swing Swing(John Williams). In this week's episode: Corrine's baby keeps the entire household awake, Burt finds out Sally has been spreading rumors under the orders of Ingrid Svensen, Danny finds out Jodie and Alice are living together, and just as Jessica and Detective Donahue decide to have an affair - Chester returns.

TRS Presents: Soap, Episode 44: Broadcast Monday, July 21,1986 at 9:00pm central. Theme Music: Swing Swing Swing(John Williams). In this week's episode: Jessica tells Chester of her affair with Detective Donahue while he was away, Billy joins a religious cult on the advice of a former girlfriend, Eunice goes to the prison to see Dutch, Jodie and Danny get Sally to tell Mary that she made up the story about her and Burt's affair, and strange things begin to happen in Corrine's baby's room."

Random Notes: On the original handwritten 3x5" index cards with the "broadcast" details of the episodes, the "Musical Intermission" IS in episodes 43 and 44, but not mentioned on the cards from the day, from which the program descriptions are copied. Episode 43 had "Valotte" by Julian Lennon, episode 44 was "Jesse" by Julian Lennon.

Another Random Note: Is it odd that a company would brand their cheap blank cassettes as "Laser" in the mid-1980's? I know compact discs were gaining popularity at the time, but "lasers" had nothing to do with audio cassette recording or playback.
