James, Paul, Albert, and a "Bunny"...
This evening, digitally converted a 90-minute special episode of "The James Stricklin Song Mirage" from the Tape and Record Show Enterprises audio cassette archives...

This "broadcast" was the first produced after a nearly two year hiatus of Tape and Record Show Enterprises. James was dating yet another woman by this time, Melissa Thomas, who went by the nickname "Bunny", which reminded me of Sgt. Carter's girlfriend on "Gomer Pyle USMC". We briefly discuss the time we were "off the air", James and Melissa's attempt to fix me up with a waitress named "Mary" from Ruston (which never panned out), attending the ZZ Top concert the previous evening(before the recording date, NOT the "broadcast" date of the episode) at the Monroe Civic Center, and Jerry Sanders' move to Arizona. Paul Morrison doesn't show up until later in the episode.
Listening to this episode for the first time in a little over 30 years this evening, I'd have to say it was one of the more hilarious shows from the TRSE archives. I had forgotten most of the stuff contained in it.
