In episode 78, at the start of the "broadcast", I relate a story to James about Paul Morrison attempting to set fire to Randy Haney in studio. Can't remember if the incident actually occurred or not, but it DOES sound like something Paul would have done. Anyway, it was a humorous story. Also, for some reason, the actual " edited broadcast copy" of this episode couldn't be located, but I WAS able to locate the "recording session" cassette, which is what I used to transfer this digital version.

Episodes 79 and 80 are two of five episodes in a row which exist in the archives which were edited for "broadcast" at the time, but for some reason, there's no actual written record of them being "aired". Since there's no "gap" in dates in the "broadcast index card files", I can only assume the episodes were "victims" of the lapse in the TRSE organization around the time I started dating Sandra Williams, and the recordings got put on the "back burner" as a result. Next actual "broadcast" episode wasn't until December 1991. The 80th episode starts with James doing his "Roscoe P. Coltrane" impersonation and I doing a lame "W.C. Fields" impersonation, then we morph into David Brinkley and Walter Cronkite.

Episode 421 of "The Tape & Record Show" is another of the HBO "Benny Hill Show" compilations, which really don't make sense presented in audio format, apart from a few songs and heavily spoken sketches, but these are part of the archives, so I'm digitizing them as they were "aired" originally on TRSE. The "Chinese Art Players" sketch would be considered highly "politically incorrect" today. I remember having a "thing" for "Hill's Angel" Louise English back in the day, but unfortunately I don't think she'd have wanted it! :-P
