At the start of episode 2, Paul complains his show was off the previous week because of a "Randy Haney's Life of Elvis" repeat, using the word "chicken shit". Episode 4, Paul tries to throw everyone for a loop by announcing the show as the "Country Corral" during the opening theme music, but admits he was joking. Paul mentions John Campbell recently appeared at "Enoch's" at the time of recording, which gives you some idea how long Enoch's (a local pub/restaurant) has been hosting quality live music entertainment in my area. Unfortunate sign of "progress" in my area, "Support" for the program at the close of the episodes was by the "Orbit Exchange", Dennis Goodwin's follow-up to "Orbit Records" from the 1980's. The "unfortunate" part is that the "Highland Shopping Center" on Cypress Street his next record shop was located in no longer exists. It was torn down a few years ago, and now a Wal-Mart Neighborhood Market exists on the property. "Boley Elementary School" across the street from the property is being rebuilt, since it was struck by lightning (not during school hours thankfully) and burned to the ground a couple years ago. Seems to be a "bad luck block" of the street.
