"Season" four was the only season to start before late June in a year, and the first season to be "broadcast" as a once weekly one hour series, since "spin-off" series were starting to gradually appear on the "schedule" due to old high school friends joining the TRSE "organization". Also, the first season where I had two "decent quality" stereo cassette recorders/players, one a deck, one portable, both with "line inputs/outputs", thus allowing me to copy/edit an episode to a "broadcast version" cassette (and both from Montgomery Ward), so for the episodes I digitized this evening, I only had to locate the single tapes of the episodes to digitize, instead of searching for individual segments, digitizing them, and piecing them together into the "broadcast episodes" like in the previous three seasons. Still didn't have an audio mixer, so when I announced something, it involved plugging in a microphone into one channel input, making the announcement, then unplugging it.
The "Elvis Presley Story" segments ran for quite a while on "The Tape and Record Show". It was from a lengthy syndicated documentary broadcast locally on a local AM radio station a little after Elvis' death. Amazed I sat on those recordings until 1982.
