For a brief period of time, I included the local weather report for the day from the Northeast Louisiana University weather phone number at the time. I located the cassette, labeled "Weather", however, it was partially recorded over with other content for some reason I can't remember today. A FEW of the original weather forecasts survive on the tape however. The few that do are included on later episodes. The "Tonight Show" episode in episode 125 was when Johnny Carson was still doing 90 minute shows. He mentions in the episode the show will soon switch to an hour a night soon. It's also a "Tonight Show" which may never be rebroadcast or released on video today, since it's heavy on music, and music rights are a "bitch". The audio cassette was made from the original broadcast with a microphone held up to a TV speaker. If "TRSE" were a real "broadcast" entity, this terrible sounding digitization probably wouldn't exist as a result. Took some effort to get episodes 125 and 126 transferred to the hard drive, had to perform some "surgery" on the cassettes. As the case with previous tapes, had to fix a "pressure pad" issue with the case, since the old foam pads had deteriorated over the decades, making the cassette unplayable. Also, WHY is the TV series "Carter Country" not on home video or streaming these days? Also again, WHAT kind of name is Guich Koock?
