Pre-prep and Some Complete "Episodes"

My continuing effort to digitize as much of the Tape and Record Show Enterprises archives as possible continued this evening, with a little "pre-prep digitization" of segments for later conversions of the first few episodes of season two of the "flagship" series "The Tape & Record Show", and conversion of three more episodes of another TRSE series...

"Jerry Sanders' Hit Parade: Episode 27. Broadcast Wednesday, May 15, 1985 at 7:00pm central. Theme Music: Beep A Freak(The Gap Band) . The best songs from past shows. Part 1 of 3. Songs include: Big Fun(Kool and the Gang), Cars(Gary Neuman), 20/20(George Benson), Let Me Tickle Your Fancy(Jermaine Jackson), Let It Whip(Dazz Band), Reunited(Greg Kihn Band), Shake Your Body to The Ground(The Jacksons).

Jerry Sanders' Hit Parade: Episode 28. Broadcast Wednesday, May 22, 1985 at 7:00pm central. Theme Music: Beep A Freak(The Gap Band) . The best songs from past shows. Part 2 of 3. Songs include: Sex Shooter(Apollonia Six), Boogie Wonderland(Earth, Wind, and Fire), 69 Times(Rick James), Loose Talk(The Bar-Kays), Sexual Healing(Marvin Gaye), Brick House(The Commodores), Big Mouth(Whodini), The People Next Door(Ray Parker, Jr.).

Jerry Sanders' Hit Parade: Episode 29. Broadcast Wednesday, June 5, 1985 at 7:00pm central. Theme Music: Beep A Freak(The Gap Band) . The best songs from past shows. Part 3 of 3. Songs include: Atomic Dog(George Clinton), Video Junkie(The Gap Band), Step Off(Grandmaster Melle Mel and the Furious Five), In The Raw(The Whispers), Sandman(America)."

These "Hit Parade" episodes I "assembled" at the time from previous episodes, as an attempt to produce "new" episodes. Jerry apparently had several "prior commitments" at the time, had little time to record new shows, so to fill out the show's first season, I cobbled together three "best of" episodes.

Re-listening this evening, I could swear Jerry announced "Jermaine Jackson" in episode 27 as "Jeremiah Jackson". In episode 28, "Apollonia 6" as "Apollonian 6".
