Episodes 44 and 45 were news oriented. The series "Consumer Survival Kit" ran on PBS from 1975-82. The show had celebrity guests to help out with some of the segments. This episode was either from 1978 or 1979, so the advice in the episode will be HIGHLY outdated by now. The advice given for car tune-ups may still be applicable for the most part, but since they suggest taking your vehicle to Sears, Wards, or Penny's for auto work, that is DEFINITELY no longer applicable! Also, who still uses typewriters? What other show would you hear Vincent Price talking about fast food restaurants?

Episode 45 was a special report on the re-entry of the Skylab space station, which occurred July 11, 1979, so the TRS broadcast was a little over a month after the fact.
