Getting Rid Of The Ol' Ranger
The guy mowing the ditches for the parish stopped this morning and asked about my old truck. Don't have a "For Sale" sign on it, but he had noticed it sitting in the yard unmoved for some time. Just to get it out of the way, I threw a $500 price to him, which is what the guy at the Firestone place (when they couldn't figure out what was wrong with it) said it would probably be worth due to the age and condition.
Even though it hasn't been running for nearly a year, he seemed fine with that price. He left his number, I gave him mine. He said he'd call me after his next payday.
