We had no audio mixer when the "duet" was recorded, so James recorded himself as "Raymond" first for the song, being in the right channel. We then played that back, put the two microphones next to both speakers in playback, and James sang as "himself" in the left speaker. About a year later, TRSE invested in a Radio Shack audio mixer. The digitization sounds better than that original recording ever did, since it cut out a lot of the hiss.
