Defunct Remote

Mom mentioned to me that she thought the batteries to the remote for the TV in the livingroom were getting weak, so I replaced them. The buttons that were having issues, the "Channel Down" and the "dot"(to access the subchannels, like 8.3) are still not functioning properly.

May have to invest in a universal remote as a replacement, since I seriously doubt Sony makes the exact remote for their televisions anymore. That TV, if it's still working next year, will turn 10 years old.
