While out on the job hunt yesterday, stopped by and got the truck "inspected". I put that in quotes, because the guy I go to for the yearly state inspection NEVER actually inspects anything. He just documents the info on my license, registration, and insurance, then goes out, scrapes last years sticker off the windshield, and puts the new one on. He doesn't even blow the horn.
Went by "Big Lots" yesterday also, found DVDs of "Not the Messiah:He's A Very Naughty Boy" and a Pink Panther cartoon collection for $5 each, and "That's Entertainment", "Goin' South", and a 3-movie John Wayne western B-movie collection, for $3 each.
Filled the Ranger up with gas, before the price goes up again. $3.45/gallon, total came to $42.75.
Got a two-page survey form in the mail from "Entertainment Weekly", which I've been a subscriber of for quite some time. Filled it out this morning while the internet was down. They enclosed two one-dollar bills in the envelope for filling out the survey, so I got a little something for my time!
